Who are the MamaWorkout classes for?

The classes are designed for moms and their special needs during or after pregnancy. No matter how many weeks you are into your pregnancy or after your delivery. It's never too late to start, no matter how old your child is. Even if your kids are already grown up and you feel that you need to strengthen your pelvic floor you are more than welcome to join the postnatal classes.

The classes are not designed to loose weight. Strengthening the pelvic floor muscles, bringing the spine and the pelvis into a good position and closing your diastasis recti after birth are the most important components of these classes.

After these classes, your body will be better prepared for birth and your new exhausting daily routine or you will be better prepared to go back to your favorite sports without risking any longterm damage after your delivery.

Why should I attend postnatal classes?

Recovering from pregnancy and birth with the right exercises will help you to prevent longterm damage to your body. You can join your favorite sports faster and your body can find back to its normal shape.
You can make new friends, have fun and enjoy some me-time. Especially shortly after birth you might feel overwhelmed, tired and lonely. These classes can cheer you up!

Can I bring my little one?

Yes, your little sunshine is always welcome!

You can bring your baby to the classes as long as she is not walking.

Older children my also be brought. There is a play area outside the exercise room. Nanny service on request. Breastfeeding during the classes is not a problem. Just take your time and rejoin the exercises when you are finished.

Do I need to register?

Yes, as the space is limited.

What do I need to bring to the classes?

Motivation and a smiling face!
Other than that, it is recommended to bring a towel to place on the floor for the exercises, a water bottle  and a little snack or energy bar if you join the prenatal classes.

You may want to bring an extra layer for your little one as the air conditioning  can be quite cold.
